Event Studio in Tallinn City Centre

Designed from an empty space, this interior was created to accommodate a remarkably wide range of events while still feeling warm, distinctive and complete.

The studio needed to work equally well for workshops, birthdays, dance gatherings, acting classes, club meetings, cultural events, astronomy evenings and intimate wedding receptions. Rather than designing the interior around one fixed scenario, the space was conceived as a flexible backdrop that could change character depending on the occasion.

The project included the overall interior concept as well as the design of the radiator covers beneath the windows, the brick feature wall and the kitchen. The flooring, ceiling beams, lighting, furniture, textiles and decorative elements were all selected or designed as part of one coherent composition.

The result was a layered, atmospheric interior with its own identity, but without being tied to a single function. Furniture and different areas of the room could be rearranged for very different formats, allowing the studio to transform from a workshop or rehearsal space into a dinner, celebration or reception venue.

For many years it became a well-loved Tallinn event space, remembered not only for the events that took place there, but for the atmosphere the interior helped to create.
